This page is for Lumen Domus Schola (the homeschool planning app by Lumen Domus Schola LLC). You can delete your account and every piece of data attached to it yourself, from inside the app, or ask us to do it by email.
Delete it yourself in the app (fastest)
- Sign in as the parent and open the Profile tab.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap it.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
The deletion happens immediately. Any active subscription is cancelled at the same time so you're not charged again. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it — if you'd like to keep a copy of your plan, print your term or year-end report first.

Email hello@lumendomusschola.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account." We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 7 days, then reply to let you know it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in and profile (email, name, settings, PIN).
- Every student profile, including any student logins you created, and everything about them: subjects, terms, lessons, check-offs, attendance, reading plans and books, homework and extra credit, activities, memory verses, events, field trips.
- All photos you uploaded (family photos, field-trip photos, curriculum scans).
- Your launch-list / email subscription, if you had one, on request.
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment records for any subscription you paid for (dates and amounts, held by our payment processor, Stripe) — kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, then deleted. They are no longer linked to a usable account.
- Encrypted backups of our database roll off within 30 days; nothing about you is restored from them.
Nothing else is retained. We don't sell or share your data, so there's nothing to recall from anyone else.
Deleting a student's login only
A parent can remove a single student's login (Profile → Students → the student → Remove login) without deleting the family account. The student's plan stays with the family; only their sign-in is removed. A student who signs in with their own username can delete that login themselves from their profile.
